Open the door and look straight ahead and be amazed at the stunning green valley that can be seen through the large living room window. But don’t go rushing out on the balcony just yet, first, take time to explore the house and its many comforts.

Turn left as you enter and find a double bedroom with a touch of autumn in the décor and an ensuite bathroom and shower in warm shades of yellow.

Turn right, and walk down the small hall, pass the second full bathroom decorated in warm earth tones and you will find at the end of the hall another bedroom with two single beds.

Both of these bedrooms have wardrobes for storage of clothing and sundry and each has independent heating for maximum customized comfort. If you like to sleep in peaceful silence and quiet and also in complete darkness, you should know that the windows have electric shutters that prevent completely the passage of light.

The living room has a charming touch of traditional stone and is spacious and bright with a view of the long, deep valley. The decor is modern and minimalist but elegant.

Relax by the fireplace, read a good book or enjoy good music or a movie with the home entertainment system provided for guests while you also take in the art that adorns the walls and furniture.

Chances are you will find yourself spending most of your time on the spacious balcony – one of the most beautiful features of the house. The valley below always surprises and enchants with its soothing green palette and dappled light, with the sound of the many songbirds and, on so many mornings and late evenings, with the mists that rise from the depths of the mountain. In summer, you can see the nightjars flitting at the end of the day and hear owls hooting from the distant corners of the forest.

When you are hungry, venture out into the fully equipped modern kitchen (i.e., an induction cooker/stove, a microwave, kettle, grinder, toaster, coffee machine, and even an electric juicer.) Be sure to stock up on your favourite foods from the nearby town, for in the kitchen cupboards and drawers you will find all the equipment you need to create tasty snacks and full meals. For the hungry guests who arrive late and haven’t yet had time to shop for groceries there are “little treats” left for you in any case.

The Yellow House was designed with great attention and care to the smallest of details in order to ensure that our guests are comfortable and feel at home.
